Lab enables students in establishing the relevance of the theory. It helps a student in improvising their practical approach towards the subject. It provides an experimental foundation for the theoretical concepts introduced in the lectures. Physics lab is important that students have an opportunity to verify some of the ideas for themselves. The notable thing is to learn how to be observant, to really see what happens, and to deal with this information with the strictest integrity. In Physics lab students lay emphasis on understanding, or learn to understand, the meaning of what happens. Experiments as prescribed in the syllabus carried out in Physics laboratories help the students in learning how to be patient and careful while taking observation and drawing the inference
The fully air-conditioned lecture theaters are well equipped with High Speed Internet connectivity to assist in teaching which ensures global connectivity for effective and efficient accessibility to information. Students can interact by computer or video-link the facility, industrial leaders and students anywhere in the world, thereby broadening their understanding and exposure to real life situations, Audio-visual and video conferencing facilities with the aid of over head projectors, LCDs, xed cameras and touch-pad systems make the learning process inter active and enjoyable.
The Library is located at ‘C’ Block in JMS Campus. Maa Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge represents the free ow of wisdom and consciousness. The library occupies a place of pride in JMS Group and is an essential component of the Institute’s outstanding research and education mission. It serves as a creative and innovative partner in supporting teaching and learning process of the Institute. It is the liveliest place on the campus providing a conducive environment that enables learning and advancement of knowledge and promotes discovery and scholarship. The pleasant ambience and the well-furnished library with spacious reading rooms create an atmosphere of serenity and thereby Inspire intellectual stimulation and research. We have well-developed library with over 5000 books including 1000 titles. Subscription is for more than 250 journals and magazines both Indian and foreign. The library also has multiple copies of several books and magazines. Recently the library has also started E-Books and E-journals and services. The College provides the Book Bank facility to the Students through which each student gets requisite books for all subjects according to academic requirements for each semester. This facility is additional to the entitlement of books issued on a library card.
The college provides a multi-nodal transport facility that connects all the important nodal points of the city as well as the rural areas to the campus. Pick-up and drop facilities are made available keeping in mind the convenience of all those who avail the transport facilities provided by the institutions to navigate and reach campus from anywhere in comfortable zone.
JMS Group offer academy for many sports like CRICKET, KABADDI, JUDO, VOLLEY BALL etc in Campus. JMS Sports Academy, Hapur is a well known academy in the whole gamut in NCR of Delhi. Our Sports Academy has provided many opportunities for them to indulge in to make themselves t, healthy and use their energy in a positive manner. There are both indoor and outdoor sports facilities available in the campus with grounds for Cricket and Football, pits for Volleyball and Kabaddi, and a track for running and athletics. In campus gymnasium with hi-tech machines is available which encourages them to take tness and health as seriously as their studies; as a healthy Body houses a healthy mind. This also gives them a chance to bond with each other outside of the classroom. Indoor games include Carom, Chess and TT table etc are also available in Sorts Academy.
Computer Centre caters to the computational and IT related needs of the academic in the Campus. All the facilities available in Computer Center are backed up by a UPS system and diesel generator for 24 hours uninterrupted supply. The entire facility is open round the clock. It is a general observation that students at the entry level graduate programs and especially the ones belonging to areas not easily accessible to internet feel hesitate and uncomfortable in using computers and its applications for the study or further. While it is mandatory for an engineer/professional to have or develop technical skills to inculcate a sound knowledge of the applications
of computer and different software to solve problems of vivid nature. Hence
to provide practical exposure and a non-hands working Environment to such students, the college has over 150
computers works stations made available in several air conditioned laboratories of the college building. They are fully
equipped, with branded (IBM&HP) Dual Core systems and server High speed Internet connectivity has been provided
in the main computer centre, with at least one faculty and technical staff always available for better guidance.
JMS Group has a broad range of services and resources in place to ensure the
physical,mental, and emotional well-being of our students. Our Student Medical aid
on campus is open throughout the week to address student health concerns, free
of charge. Certied health care professionals provide primary care, including injury
and illness treatment, routine gynecologic care and immunizations. In case of
emergencies they are referred immediately to nearby hospitals and nursing homes.
Students are being properly counseled by the experts that mental health is as
important as physical health, so representatives from our Counseling Centers are
available for consultations, individual or group therapy, or psychiatric evaluations.
Their services are condential and free for Students and Staff members. Facility of
routine checkup such as eyes test and teeth test are provided to the Students free of
cost. JMS Group as tie up with Shree Bankey Bihari Dental College and Hospital, Ghaziaad for care and treatment of teeth, mouth and germs.
